Do NOT confuse this great football with the other inferior Wilson F1192 three white panel football. National Sports Distributors originally designed the white panel football in 1989 and sold it under the Wilson name. Recently there have been changes to the ink in the pens and the existing white panels on the existing standard F1192 Wilson white panel footballs will not hold an autograph over time and the autographs easily smear and fade and become blurred. Once again, NSD has corrected the problem by developing a new design of a white panel football. While the picture on this website of the NSD007 looks nearly identical to the picture of the F1192 footballs, the key to this superior NSD007 football is the white material. The white material is a semi-shinny white material that holds an autograph extremely well when used with ONLY a UniPaint liquid paint pen (see our pen section for these pens which can be ordered separately). After only one to two minutes after autographing the football with the UniPaint pens (black or blue looks great), the ink dries completely and you can literally rub your hand over the autograph with no problems. With the UniPaint pen ink on this great white NSD007 material, the autograph looks like the frosting writing on a cake, thick and beautiful. Actually, these footballs are the best looking footballs for autographs. Need proof, ask Dwight Clark and Joe Montana of the 49ers as they now use this ball exclusively for their "The Catch" football where they not only autograph the football but also draw out the play from playbook with all the X's and O's.
