Sonoma County, CA – Jimmy Johnson, in conjunction with National Sports Distributors (NSD), made an autograph signing appearance July 11^th in Chantilly, Virginia, his first for the Collectors Showcase of America. Jimmy said, “The show was very busy with an exuberant, knowledgeable crowd, and well run. It was a pleasure signing autographs at the show.” Robert Hemphill, owner of NSD, added, “Jimmy is truly one of the nicest athletes and down to earth person, easy to worth with. He lives in Marin County, not far from our business, and has presented to different organizations.”

 

Johnson played as the cornerback for the San Francisco 49ers from 1961-76 and was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 1994. A 5x Pro Bowl selection, he had 47 career interceptions and is a member of the NFL’s 1970s All Decade Team. 

 

The CSA show had 300 dealer tables set up and presented 67 guest athletes including

Heisman players, Super Bowl MVPs and Hall of Fame inductees. Over 3,000 attended the three day weekend show.
