Super Bowl 16 Rozelle Commemorative Football by Wilson. This Wilson Super Bowl XVI football has been produced specifically for NSD. This is a great item for the Joe Montana and 49er fans. Super Bowl 16 was the first of five Super Bowls the 49ers have won. During the game, the Rozelle Game model football was used which has the NFL logo on the main panel. This ball has the same Rozelle NFL panel, but the stem panel has been upgraded to include the date, the team names and location of the game. The Wilson black logo and the imprint of Pete Rozelle’s signature as the commissioner is included on the primary NFL logo panel. Super Bowl 16 was held at the Pontiac Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan on January 24, 1982 between the San Francisco 49ers and the Cincinnati Bengals. The 49ers won 26 to 21 and Joe Montana was the MVP. The scores are not printed on the ball. Limited availability.
