Bob Feller Autographed Plaque

This Indians Bob Feller Autographed Plaque is 15" x 12" and made with a vintage 8x10 photo of Bob hurling a fastball, a deluxe engraved plate and a real football card. Bob played 16 seasons of professional baseball for the Cleveland Indians where he became a Hall of Fame pitcher despite missing the prime of his career due to World War II. Bob was an 8-time All Star in his MLB career and began pitching in the MLB at only 17 years old. In his first career start, Bob struck out 15 batters and got his first win. 1940 was the best season of Bob's career, as he started Opening Day by pitching a no-hitter versus the Chicago White Sox. A great start to a great season, which saw Bob win the pitching Triple Crown, being the leader in wins (27), ERA(2.61) and strikeouts (261). Bob then went to fight for the USA in World War II from 1941-1945. He would come back to baseball after his servicer and played 11 more seasons. He was selected to 4 all-star teams after the war and also helped Cleveland win the World Series in 1948. Bob would play til 1956 before he hung up the cleats. Bob was selected as a first-ballot Hall of Fame inductee in 1962.
