Buster Posey Plaque

This great Buster Posey Plaque is 15" x 12" and made with a nice 8x10 photo of Buster batting, a deluxe engraved plate and a Posey baseball card. Gerald Posey, now known as "Buster" Posey, was an MVP catcher for the San Fransisco Giants. The 7x All-Star catcher played 11 seasons with the team and became the team's leader very quickly. He would be called up to the Major League's in 2009 for a few games before making his full rookie season debut in 2010. He batted .305 with 18 Home runs and 67 RBI's that season which would win him the NL Rookie of the Year award. The Giants would go on to win their first World Series in the Bay that season, defeating the Texas Rangers 4 games to 1. Buster would break his fibula in 2011 in a home plate collision versus the Marlins, and would have a resurgence year in 2012. Buster would call every pitch of Matt Cain's Perfect Game on June 13, 2012 on the way to a .336, 24 Home Run and 103 RBI season, and the Giants would climb back to the mountain top to claim their 2nd World Series in 3 seasons. Posey would be named the NL MVP for his performance that season, along with the Batting Champion title and the Silver Slugger Award. Buster would help the Giants win their 3rd World Series in 2014, although Madison Bumgarner was the story of that World Series. Buster would retire last season after only 11 seasons in the majors, but every moment from Buster was special. He will surely see his name on the way to Cooperstown in 2026.
