Drew Brees Autographed Plaque - Chargers

This Chargers Drew Brees Autographed Plaque is 15" x 12" and made with a great 8x10 photo of Drew throwing the football, a deluxe engraved plate and a real football card. Drew Brees played 20 years of NFL football mainly for the Saints and the early part of his career with the Chargers. Drew came out of Purdue as a mid-to-late first round selection, but would fall to the Chargers as the 32nd overall pick of the draft. Drew would be the backup to Doug Flutie his rookie season, but would be the starter for the next 4 seasons in San Diego. Brees led the team to a 30-28 record over 4 seasons, his best being the 2004 season where Brees helped the Chargers to a 12-4 record and win their first division title in 10 seasons. Brees threw for 3,159 yards and 27 touchdowns, while only throwing 7 interceptions that season. That season was the first of 13 Pro Bowls Brees was selected to in his career. After the 2005 season that saw Brees season end from a torn labrum, the Chargers were skeptical of how he would perform and gave Brees a contract that would base highly off his performance and were not willing to negotiate, which led Brees to sign with the New Orleans Saints. The rest is history and Brees has now become one of the most famous NFL Quarterbacks in the game's history and a legend in New Orleans.
