This 49ers Dwight Clark Autographed Plaque is 12" x 15" with a great 8x10 action photo of "The Catch", a football card and a deluxe engraved plate. Dwight Clark was a 6'4" wide receiver who was drafted in the 10th round of then 1979 NFL draft to the San Fransisco 49ers. The two-time Pro Bowler would quickly make his presence felt as he put up 991 yards and 8 touchdowns in his first year as a starter. In his 3rd NFL season, Dwight would eclipse 1,100 yards and 4 touchdowns, including his famous "The Catch" touchdown where Dwight soared in the corner of the endzone to make a incredible leaping catch that tied the 1981 NFC Championship game with 30 seconds left. After the extra point was good, the Niners would hold on to their one point lead and go on to the Super Bowl. They would defeat the Bengals in Super Bowl XVI and Dwight would be named to the All-Pro First Team that season. Clark would then help the 49ers win their second Super Bowl 3 seasons later in a victory over the Miami Dolphins 38-16. Clark retired after the 1987 season, and would become the General Manager for the 49ers and Browns, where he would see the 49ers win 3 more Super Bowls.
