When Roger Goodell became the commissioner in 2006, all NFL game footballs used in the games have the team's name on the football. Each team for each game receives 9 footballs with their name imprinted on the football in large letters just under the NFL Logo panel. These footballs have been very rare and generally available only for the games. These footballs are known as Team Issued NFL Game Model Footballs.
National Sports Distributors has established an exclusive with Wilson Sporting Goods to distribute these same model footballs as made for each game. All 32 NFL football teams are available though NSD in unlimited quantities. These Team Issued NFL Game Footballs are the best NFL game model footballs to use for autographing for any player in the NFL as of 2006. These Team Issued NFL Game Footballs are also an excellent sports collectible just by themselves without any autograph as well.
Contact National Sports Distributors at (707) 285-2900 to order these footballs.
